Connect with your chapter at Legacy Weekend

Blog-Byline-JasonLegacy Weekend is coming to your campus soon. Hopefully you have heard about it by now and have made your plans to attend. As we looked to engage our alumni, we asked many of you what you wanted to see happen. The overwhelming majority of alumni we talked with said they wanted to know what is going on with their chapter of BYX.

We realize that the memories and relationships that were formed in BYX were made on your particular campus. Legacy Weekend is your opportunity to return to campus to find out what the Lord is doing in BYX these days.

I want to encourage you to make plans to attend this fall’s Legacy Weekend for your chapter. I have been to my Legacy Weekend the past few years and have enjoyed meeting several of the young active members and re-uniting with many of the brothers who were a part of the chapter while I was in school.

Admittedly we all know and understand that it can be difficult to get our young leaders to think in the mindset of an alumni of BYX. Many of them don’t think farther than a couple hours or a couple days ahead of time. Encouraging them to put themselves in the feet of a 30-something alumni with a wife and a couple of kids is a challenge. We are continuing to coach our young leaders on Legacy Weekend. Below is a sample of what we hope you can expect from Legacy Weekend at most of our schools. For exact information about your chapters Legacy Weekend, visit our website at and register to attend this fall’s activities.
